Mission Statement

The mission of the Children's Primary Centre and Cornerstone Preparatory School is to educate students who, for the glory of God, are capable of achieving at or above grade level with reasonable effort in a traditional learning environment that prepares students for higher education while developing and implementing a Christian world view that permeates all of life

Vision Statement

It is the vision of the Children's Primary Centre and Cornerstone Preparatory School that our graduates from our elementary and high school division possess a Christian world view that permeates all of life, are prepared for high school and college level studies, and that they will:

spiritually, have a personal relationship with Christ exhibiting the desire and ability to apply and practice biblical principles of Christian living in the home, church, workplace and community, serving others,

academically, be able to think critically, communicate clearly, effectively use mathematics, scientific knowledge, and computers; find, examine and evaluate information; and appreciate literature, music and the fine arts,

in citizenship, understand and implement skills of effective citizenship and democratic ideals, discern changes and differences in world cultures, histories and governments of other peoples, and respond to God’s leading in mission outreach,

life skills, respect and relate appropriately with others practicing principles of integrity, commitment, and biblical morality. Be able to solve problems, make decisions, appreciate work, and practice being a good steward of their physical health, and all resources and opportunities.

Terms and Conditions

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The school age capacity is based on the use of the gymnasium and room 305.
The operator shall ensure the school age child care children attending through the lunch time period are provided adequate supervision as specified within the Act.
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Room(s) 102 and 205.
The kindergarten and/or school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
The operator may offer a program for up to 32 preschool children age 2.5 to 5 years in rooms 201 and 205 OR a program for 22 children age 2.5 to 5 years in room 201 and 10 JK/SK children age 44 months to 5 years in room 205.

Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to s.55(2).
