Rouge Valley Sports Camp (RVSC) Middlefield Collegiate Institute

Rouge Valley Sports Camp is a privately owned summer day camp located in Markham, Ontario. We look forward to providing campers, ages 3 - 13,

from Markham and the surrounding areas with weeks filled with fun, friendship, engaging activities and lifelong memories.

Programs and Activities

At Rouge Valley Sports Camp, our mission is to provide campers with a unique, rewarding and unforgettable summer experience. Our program is designed to accommodate the diverse interests of campers of all backgrounds and personalities.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" program at Rouge Valley Sports Camp. Instead, our daily schedule is structured basaccording to camper interest surveys and the observations of our Camp Staff. This ensures that all campers participate in activities they enjoy. All of this is accomplished through two different types of activity periods:

1. Sport Rotation - Campers are introduced to a variety of different sports based on a set schedule. This is a great opportunity for our campers to experience new sports for the first time in a safe and encouraging environment.

2. Elective Periods - gives our Fox and Bear campers the chance to receive daily instruction in the sports and activities they like the most. Fox and Bear campers will rank their favourite sports on our registration form and be placed in their highest possible choices based on availability. Campers can choose between Soccer, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Flag Football, Baseball, Volleyball, Dance, English, Science or Math.

Our Camp Wide Activity is a chance for all of our campers to participate in a camp style activity together in a large group. Camp Wide Activities include Capture the Flag, Relay Races, Obstacle Courses and other team-building games designed by our staff!
