The Town of Oakville runs a variety of recreation & culture programs including aquatics, martial arts, camps, specialty and drop-in programs.
Town programs for children and youth focus on healthy child development. As a HIGH FIVE® Accredited Organization, our programs for children 6 to 12 years of age are recognized as having the highest levels of quality and safety.
Oakville strives to make the programs and services accessible and inclusive to all members of our community including those with intellectual or physical disabilities; attention and behaviour difficulties; vision and hearing impairments; learning disabilities; allergies and medical conditions.
Every season, new programs are introduced for all ages and abilities. Whether you're looking for something active or arty, we've got a class for you!
Print copies of Fall 2015/ Winter 2016 Parks, Recreation and Culture Guide are available for pick-up at community centres, seniors centres, libraries, pools, arenas and Town Hall.
The town offers financial assistance to qualified individuals who are unable to afford town recreation and leisure services. For more information, visit the subsidy programs page.
