Open to all students from K to Grade 8, International Languages Elementary summer programs combine language & culture learning with engaging activities like games, songs, dance, storytelling and writing. No language background knowledge is necessary.
Half-day and full-day programs are available in all sites except for Crestview PS (full day only), Don Valley JHS (full day only) and Georges Vanier SS (half day only). Language classes are offered in the morning through TDSB's international languages program. Afternoon culture programs are run by community groups and are available at most sites.
Program Dates
Language classes are offered from June 29 - July 31, 2015 (excluding July 1), from 9-11:30 am in all sites except North Kipling, which runs from 1-3:30 pm.
Please note that additional language classes may be offered provided there is a minimum of 23 students registered.
Cost
Some minimal mterial fee for morning programs (international languages) and additional weekly fees (affordable) for afternoon culture programs.
