Our mission at SCI-TEK is to engage children in learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in a creative, safe and meaningful learning environment. We teach children essential fundamental skills using Lego Mindstorm NXT2 and EV3, computers and more.
We enable students to think, design, build and program in a hands-on way, working and communicating with a partner to problem solve, build and create solutions.
We believe that children are at their best when they are interested and engaged.
Classes
We keep our class sizes small, as this allows more interaction and time for students to reach their potential. We run the classes for children from the age of 8. Please be aware that some mathematical process knowledge is required. We build up the child's programming skills and start with simple robots.
Due to our classes being small, we do book up very quickly, so register today.
Summer Camps
Come and join us for the week (half day) and really learn about Lego Mindstorm Robotics. What makes us unique is that our courses are designed around the students' interests, skills and abilities. Get to grips with the basics first and then let you imagination take over.
Birthday Parties
We offer 2 hour Robotics parties for up to 8 children. Children will learn how to build a Robot and it introduce them into designing and building with Lego Mindstorms. Whether they are a beginner, have a little more knowledge or are advanced, join us for this unique party experience.
Learn at Home – Online Robotics Academy
Our Online Robotics Academy provides a safe environment for students to learn STEM engineering concepts at home. Suitable for Children, Parents, Schools and those preparing for the FLL - First Lego League Competitions.
