About Kids Programs

Any Youth or Teen student can take a class with The Second City! We welcome all experience levels. Classes are led by performers/instructors who are experienced working with young students.

Camps

Second City Comedy Camps are a place to exercise your creative energies in our improvisation and comedy writing camps! Campers play fun improv games to help access creativity, boost self-confidence and develop spontaneity and playfulness. There is a showcase at the end of every camp, parents will be notified of exact time and studio on the first day of camp.

Improv Program

Study the fundamentals of improvisation through exercises that help to develop strong ensemble and character work. Develop stage presence as well as patience, self confidence, good communication skills, and a respect for other performers and their creativity.

Music Programs

The Second City Music Program is dedicated to helping students explore comedy’s unique relationship to music through voice, improvisation, and songwriting.
