Archery Camp

Campers will be introduced to archery by helping them develop the fundamental skills necessary for the sport. Campers will also engage in various activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and much more. All archery equipment will be supplied.

Badminton Camp

Badminton camp offers campers a chance to learn and/or improve their badminton skills in this fast-paced and strategic game. Campers will learn serves, forehands, overhands and racket placement, as well as game play strategies. Friendly competitions will be held on a daily basis and, on the last day, a camp-wide tournament will be held. Crafts and active games will also be incorporated into this camp. Campers must bring their own rackets.

Bike Camp

Bike riders will enjoy riding along the many trails and paths Richmond Hill offers and will also learn about bike repair and safety tips. They'll also get to enjoy an afternoon of activities, including crafts, art, sports and more. Participants must provide their own bike, bike helmet and bike lock. (Bikes cannot be stored overnight at the facility). Campers must be able to ride a bike, no learn-to-bike instruction will be provided.

Computer Camp: 3D Creatures with an iPad

Students will learn how to make their creatures any way they'd like using their imagination and creativity! The principles of creature anatomy will be taught and, at the end of the course, each student will take home one of their own 3D printed creatures. Students must bring their own iPad to participate in this course.

Fairy Tale Theatre - Week 2

The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts is bringing pirates, princesses, wizards and fairies to life on stage. Through song, dance, and acting, campers will participate in their own fairy take, while enjoying a variety of theatre-related activities. At the end of the session, their original musical fairy tale will be performed for family and friends.

This summer, preschool Broadway stars can act, sing and dance all week long. Offered by the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, campers will explore the basics of musical theatre through related activities, games and stories. The instructors will also help them tap into their big imaginations and wonderful ideas to perform songs and dances from a different musical each session. It's a fun-filled introduction to the joys of live theatre! A performance for family and friends will be presented at the end of the session.
