You may register for specific days of the March Break Fun Camp if you do not require the entire week. The March Break daily program participants are included with the full week March Break Fun Camp participants. Space is limited so please register early. Please make sure you include the course code for each day of the week that you want to register in on your registration application.
Spending your P.A. day on the ice is the best way to sharpen your skills. This program is open to hockey players who are looking to improve puck handling, shooting, passing and game play. This program will consist of one hour of hockey instruction, and 30 minutes of fun games and a scrimmage. CSA - APPROVED HELMETS WITH FACEMASKS AND FULL HOCKEY EQUIPMENT ARE MANDATORY.
Who wouldn't want to spend their P.A. Day on the ice? This program is open to Hockey/Ringette players who want to improve their edges, speed, agility and overall lateral movements in a fast paced setting. CSA - APPROVED HELMETS WITH FACEMASKS AND FULL HOCKEY/RINGETTE EQUIPMENT ARE MANDATORY.
Learn to teach swimming and lifesaving! Through classroom learning and in-water practice, the Swim Instructor & Lifesaving Instructor course will certify you to teach most lifesaving awards. The Swim Instructor component will prepare you to teach and evaluate basic swim strokes and related skills found in any program. Practice teaching is emphasized. Prerequisite: Minimum 16 years old (by the end of the course) and Bronze Cross (or NL). The program fee includes the LSS certification fee and required materials.
Do you like to cook? Ever wanted to learn? Try your hand at cooking meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner or snack time. Spend half the day working in the kitchen, then have fun creating arts & crafts and playing sports. Bon appetit! This camp is divided into two groups: Junior 5-7 years, Senior: 8-12 years. EDC avaliable.
For those who just can't get enough Chess. The tournament will be conducted in a Swiss-system format, an all-inclusive method for players of a wide range to practice while having fun at the same time. All levels welcome.
