P.A. Day Lego Camp

Participants will be challenged to create their lego models using balance, stability, mechanics and colour. Participants will work on their teamwork, creativity and problem solving skills. Please note that this program is not sponsored by the LEGO Group.

P.A. Day Program (4 to 13 Years)

This one day program offers a variety of physical activities and sports during P.A. Days. Participants will have the opportunity to spend the day focusing on sport skills development, teamwork and fair play. Physical activities and sports opportunities vary based on location and a different experience will be provided for each scheduled P.A. Day.

P.A. Day Afternoons at the Museum

Spend the afternoon at Erchless Estate for museum-inspired activities. These fun and interactive afternoons include a visit to our feature exhibit, a tour of the historic estate and a create-and-take craft. There will be a different theme each afternoon to enjoy. HIGH FIVE Training

HIGH FIVE is a quality assurance program developed through Parks & Recreation Ontario and designed to support the safety, well-being and healthy development of children in recreation and sport programs. This program is mandatory for those interested in working in most municipal recreation or camp based programs.

Leaders In Training 2018

Our LIT program is a great opportunity for youth who are transitioning from campers to potential staff. Thi program requires 1 full day of training during the first week of camp. Volunteers are required to volunteer for 1 week, are guaranteed 2 weeks, and can volunteer up to a maximum of 3 weeks. First time LIT's are also required to complete a HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development certification. *All volunteers must be 14 years of age prior to the start of the program.

Claireville Overnight Session #1

Clairville Day Camp, Camp Naorca and Hum-ri-va Day Camp offer children and youth ages 4 to 16 an adventurous opportunity to experience nature and the great outdoors with their hiking trails, natural ravines and open spaces. These camps bring the experience of overnight camps to a day camp setting by offering cookouts, camfires and overnights for older campers. All three camps provide bussing and campers can experience a variety of activities ranging from nature exploration, music, drama, orienteering and initiative tasks, french, sports, riding and leadership training. Clairville is located at Clairville Conservation area, Naorca is located at the Forest Valley Outdoor Education Center and Humriva is located in the Lambton Valley. Standard First Aid with CPR C (Recertification)

Current Standard First Aid (SFA) award holders may recertify their Lifesaving Society SFA certification just once on a Lifesaving Society SFA Recertification course not more than 3 years from the Standard First Aid date of issue. To renew SFA certifications subsequently, award holders must repeat the full SFA course. Thereafter, individuals may renew by alternating recertification and original courses. Holders of Standard First Aid certificates from other agencies may not recertify their certificate on a Lifesaving Society SFA Recertification course. They must recertify with the original certifying agency. Required Materials: Canadian First Aid Manual may be purchased of an additional fee. Prerequisites: Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid (within 3 years of the date of issue)
