Youth - Red Cross - Babysitter's Training (PA Day)

Participate in fun activities and gain hands-on practice in this Red Cross course. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course also offers youth the skills to promote themselves as babysitters to prospective families. This course focuses on how to be responsible and demonstrate leadership, how to feed, diaper, dress, and play with children and babies, first aid skills, the business of babysitting, how to make good decisions and manage difficult behaviours, information on children's developmental stages, and specific strategies for each stage, and how to recognize and prevent unsafe situations, make safe choices and promote safe behaviours.

Before and After-Care - P.A. Day Camps

Supervised before-and-after-care activities for children registered for all-day P.A Day Camps. Extended supervision is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Age: 5-12

P.A. Day Sports Sampler

Participants spend the day engaging in a variety of sports to expand their skills and increase their chance of continuing healthy life-long activity. Age: 6-12

Soccer Tournament

Round Robin format with top two teams advancing to final game. Wins, losses, ties, goals for, goals against will determine who advances to final. All games are officiated by City of Brampton staff or volunteers.

P.A. Day - Frequent Flyers Age 6-12

PA Day Program

Join us on your PA Day! Great activities will be run by dedicated staff in a safe and fun environment. Programs will feature access to the Sk8 Park, gym, and games area, as well as a variety of passive and active games to balance out the day. Lunch and snacks are provided. Extended care is available.

The Base PA Day Program

Students will enjoy an enriched day of activities. The day will include a mix of recreational fitness, lifestyle skill development, literacy, crafts and games. Participants should dress in active wear and bring a (nut free) lunch, snacks, and indoor shoes. All About Me form is required to be completed. Ratio is 1:5. Additional support is available.

Babysitter Training [C]

Looking to get into the babysitting business? Then this is the course for you! Learn the fundamentals of babysitting and safety in the home. Gain first-hand knowledge of caring for infants and children from the staff of Safety on Site (SOS). Cost includes instruction, manual and certificate. Please bring a lunch, drink, snack, pen and paper, and a large doll/teddy bear to practice on. No peanuts or nut products please! Age: 11-14
