Java Programming for Beginners with ALICE

This camp introduces kids to the world of Java using ALICE software. Using a step-by-step process, students will gain the knowledge needed to work with programming and logical statements to create their own software.

LSS Standard First Aid

Focus on First Aid! Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training related to all the aspects of first aid and CPR. This course promotes an in-depth understanding of first aid, addressing topics such as legal implications of first aid, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. The program fee includes the LSS certification fee and required materials. If your last LSS Standard First Aid course was a recertification, you must take this course to renew it.

PA Day Code Adventure

Embark in an hour long P.A. Day coding adventure! When the program starts, children choose a theme (Minecraft, Frozen or Star Wars) and complete different challenges that teach them the basics of coding. New or experienced, boy or girl - this coding adventure is for every kid!

PA Day Minecraft© Adventures

Enjoy your P.A. Day playing and building in Minecraft© while learning new tricks and making friends. Children discover the underlying mechanics of the game while learning new logic and problem-solving skills, giving them an opportunity to create bigger and better versions of the inventions in the Minecraft© world.

Broadway Bound Senior - OLIVER! - Session A

This summer, one of Broadway?s most classic and beloved musicals takes the stage at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. The theatre will come alive with the story of Oliver Twist and his band of friends and foes. With classic songs such as Oliver!, Consider Yourself and You?ve got to Pick a Pocket or Two each camper will get a chance to shine on our main stage. Each camper will get the chance to try out their acting, singing and dancing skills. There is a part for everyone, no matter what the level of theatre experience. Come one come all and join us in creating your very own production of Oliver! Please note: 10-and-11-year-olds can also register for Broadway Bound Jr.

Creative Expressions - Dance

Express yourself through dance! This is a great opportunity for campers to express their creativity through different genres of dance, such as jazz and hip hop. They will learn choreographed routines incorporating many genres. The afternoons will be devoted to popular camp activities, including arts and crafts, baking, and gym games. There is also a field trip, swimming (for nine to thirteen year olds), and splash pad activities (for six to eight year olds). At 7:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each session, campers will perform their dances for family and friends.

Creative Expressions - Visual Arts

Come and try your hand at art! After learning about art movements like Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism and Realism, campers will create pieces incorporating the different styles. Fundamental art techniques like creating a colour wheel and shading are explored, while campers get to work in a variety of mediums, such as acrylic paint, plaster bandages, charcoal and more! The afternoons will be devoted to popular camp activities, including arts and crafts, baking and gym games. There is also a field trip, swimming (for nine to thirteen year olds), and splash pad activities (for six to eight year olds). At 6:45p.m. on the last Thursday of each session, campers will showcase their artwork for family and friends

P.A. Day - Mad Science 2017

Mad Science has been introducing children to the wonders of science in a fun and hands-on way for more than 18 years! Our presenters create an exciting and safe environment to ensure your children are having a positive Mad Science experience. Your children will be engaged in cool activities, observe spectacular demonstrations, participate in mind-blowing experiments and take-home creations they make themselves. Appropriate for both boys and girls.

Tennis Camp

This camp is a great opportunity for children to stay active throughout the summer. Our highly trained staff will ensure that every camper learns the technical and strategic aspects of tennis through various drills and games. We create a fun-filled environment for campers of all levels. In addition each camper will enjoy other sports, such as basketball and soccer. Please wear athletic shoes with non marking soles. Balls are supplied.
