It’s About Participation - Our first goal is to provide introductory, recreational level programs that represent a “Spectrum” of recreation choices to try out. The City of London generally provides you opportunities to continue with your preferred activities only if these opportunities are not reasonably accessible through London’s many other excellent recreation service providers and businesses. Participation improves health and quality of life.
Gender Fairness in Recreation Services - The City of London is committed to offering a full range and variety of recreation opportunities for all Londoners to develop the body, mind and spirit. See program selections in the catalogue.
Program Integration and Accessibility - The City and London is committed to providing access to services and activities for all persons. Those with special needs are welcome to attend any recreational activity compatible with their interests and abilities. Participants are encouraged to bring their own volunteer support. The volunteer is not charged a fee when they attend a program with a paying participant. Please feel free to consult a Program Supervisor to discuss our ability to accommodate your needs.
