The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
As of August 31, 2015 room 158 is licensed for use by a Primary/Junior School Age group of 30 children.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
As of August 31, 2015 the operator is licensed to provide care for one group of 26 Kindergarten children and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
The JK/SK and school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full days on PA days and school holidays.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
Alternate capacity: A program for 16 Preschool may operate in the Toddler room when the Toddler capacity is not being used.
As of August 31, 2015 the operator is licensed to provide care for two groups of 30 Primary/Junior school age children and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Room 158 is licensed for a group of 20 JK/SK children until August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect.

Director's Approval

Director approval has been granted for junior and senior kindergarten children to bring bagged lunches and/or snacks.
Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, director approval is granted for the use of a room or area with less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group as set out in the shared space confirmation.
As of August 31, 2015, Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
