The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
As of August 31, 2015, all rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
As of August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 26 Kindergarten children and must meet the staff: child ratios and respect the maximum group size identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation O. Reg. 137/15.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refridgeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
The kindergarten and school age programs are licensed to operate before-and-after school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
No child shall use the playground structure until the operator receives a third party certified playground safety inspector's written verification the surfacing and permanent play structure meet CSA standards. The inspector's written confirmation of CSA compliance must be submitted to the ministry prior to the use of the permanent play structure.
Until August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 20 JK/SK children and must meet the staff: child ratios and respect the maximum group sizes identified in Schedule 3 of Ontario Regulations 262.

Director's Approval

As of August 31, 2015, Director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
Director's approval has been granted for kindergarten and school age children to bring bag lunches and/or snacks.
Director's approval for a mixed age group. Therefore, 20% of 30 children, (68 months to 12 years) maximum of 6 children, may include children from the younger age group ( 44 - 67 months).
Director's approval provided for JK/SK (44 months to 67 months) children to use the school's unfenced playground based on the operator's Playground Safety Policy.
Director's approval for a mixed age group. Therefore, 20% of 20 children, (44-67 months) maximum of 4 children, may include children from the younger age group (31 months - 5 years).
Director approval is granted to allow mixed age grouping pursuant to ss.8(2) and (3) of O. Reg. 137/15
