Director's Approval
| Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddlers (group of 5) = 1; Preschoolers (group of 8) = 1 OR Preschoolers (group of 16) = 3. Director's approval is granted for when more than 20% of the group is from the next younger age group, the group size and staff ratio for the younger group will be used. |
