Summer Overnight Camp Programs

Programs for Girls and Family Members

  • Parent & Me Programs: available for Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders. (Girls born 2001 - 2010)
  • Family Camp: a great bonding experience for grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents and children;  All ages and genders are welcome

Programs for Individual Girls

Traditional Camp Programs: Camp Explorers, and Outdoor Explorers

  • Our main camp program! The Explorers program is the perfect variety of camp activities that highlight our "best of everything". 
  • There are Explorer programs available for Sparks, Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders. (Girls born 2001 - 2010)

Kalediscope Programs:  Performing Arts, Photography, Visual Arts, Artists Studio

  • Girls will sample their art specialty program for up to four hours per day.
  • There are Kalediscope programs available for Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders. (Girls born 2001 - 2008)

Adventurer Programs: Geocache Adventurers, Get Fit Adventurers, French Language Adventurers, Horseback Riding Adventurers, Ropes & Walls Adventurers, Surf & Sail Adventurers, Waterfront Adventurers, Wilderness Adventurers

  • Girls will sample their adventure specialty program for up to four hours per day.
  • There are Adventurer programs available for Guides and Pathfinders. (Girls born in 2006 and earlier)

Leadership Development Programs: Leadership Development Two, Leadership Development Three, Leadership Development Four, Aquatic Leadership Development

  • There are Leadership Development programs available for girls born in 2001 and earlier.

Voyageurs Programs: Canoe Voyageurs, Ottawa Adventure Voyageurs

  • Our Voyageur programs are a great way to experience Ontario’s wilderness. These 2 or 3 week programs include a 4-day, 5-day, 6-day, 8-day, 10-day or 14-day canoe trip.
  • Our Ottawa Adventure Voyageurs is a one week program that includes day trips throughout the Ottawa area. Come ready with a sense of fun and adventure!
  • There are Voyageur programs available for Pathfinders and Rangers. (Girls born in 2003 and earlier)

Summer Day Camps

Our day camps offer a variety of high quality, safe and fun activities supervised by qualified and energetic staff. Girls will have the opportunity to self-select some activities. There will be opportunities to swim and play in the water. Your camper will gain skills and make new friends in warm and welcoming camp environment while they laugh and play. Programming is based on the Girl Guide Program and Girl Guide Values.

Driving Directions: From the 401, exit at Sir John A MacDonald Blvd and go south. At the end of the street, it will intersect with King St (Kingston Pen will be directly in front of you). Turn right onto King St (past St Lawrence College, Cataraqui Golf Club). Just after passing the golf club, you will see a large manufacturing plant (Dupont) in front of you. Turn left at the set of lights before the Dupont plant (East Gate entrance). Cross the train tracks and proceed through the opening taking you behind the Dupont plant. Follow the paved road until you see the green street sign indicating Sand Bay Lane. Turn left onto Sand Bay Lane. Proceed to the end of Sand Bay Lane until you meet Pumphouse Lane (large sign indicating Guide camp is to the left) and turn left. Proceed along Pumphouse Lane - main house is on the left hand side of the road - large greenhouse. There is a Girl Guide camp sign at the front gate.
