Upper Canada Creative Child Care Centres of Ontario

Our Philosophy

Our program acknowledges the uniqueness of all children. Our educators facilitate each child's growth by providing rich and stimulating activities. Balanced to provide learning opportunities in all educational areas, our program offers carefully planned and monitored learning centres. These concrete experiences promote competency and encourage self-esteem.

A Partnership For The Future

We believe families and educators must join together as partners. Respecting the importance of family ties and traditions strengthens the bond between home and school as each child's world expands. We encourage parent involvement through developmental reports, parent-teacher interviews and Parent Advisory Committee Meetings.

We offer children an environment in which they have maximum potential to experience secure, stimulating, healthy and enjoyable opportunities for growth.

About Day Camps

At Upper Canada Day Camp, we are always on the go.

Field trips are our specialty. Since summer is about being outside, twice per week we jump on a bus and take in all our surroundings have to offer. Whether we are enjoying a theme park, sporting event, or nature trail, the objectives are the same: to explore, discover and have fun among friends.

Days when we are not on trips are equally busy. Activities such as swimming, sports, arts, crafts and science keep bodies and minds active and entertained. Weekly skills instruction, on site or at Kettleby Valley Camp, rounds out our dynamic program. Friendship, safety and most of all fun are what our camp is all about.
