UCC Summer Camps

About Summer Camps

The sports camps teach a variety of fundamentals, with excellent instruction for young athletes at the introductory and intermediate levels. The arts and technology camps provide creative and intellectual challenges for children of all levels. The kids camps offer a broad range of activities and sports for children aged four to eight.

Kids Day Camps (ages 4-8)

Our kids summer day camps offer cooperative play and challenging activities to help develop your child’s social skills, creativity and athletic abilities. In other words, they’re “fun, fun, fun!”

Sports Day Camps (ages 6-16, depending on program choice)

Our sports summer day camps are a great way to get your child moving and, at the same time, introduce new skills. From lacrosse through to golf and baseball, we’ve got all the hottest sports. Each camp provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals and more advanced skill development for older players.

Arts and Theatre Day Camps

The arts summer day camps provide creative challenges for children of all levels. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or a future So You Think You Can Dance contestant, we have a camp that will bring out the best of his or her talents.

Technology Day Camps

From space camp to video game development, there’s something for everyone in the next generation of techies.

Leadership Day Camp

Leadership training provides young teens with valuable leadership and life skills. The camp offers theoretical and practical leadership training and opportunities for development as future camp counsellors.

Summer Academy

UCC’s Summer Academy has been providing excellence in summer academic experiences through credit courses since 1997. Small classes, superb teachers and modern, well-equipped facilities ensure an optimal learning experience. All courses are co-educational and are open to all students.

Due to an expansive renovation on the UCC property during the summer of 2014, we’re sorry to report that we won’t be able to offer any enrichment course this summer. Credit courses will be offered as in previous summers.

The UCC Summer Academy offers seven credit courses at grades 11 and 12. These courses conform to the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines and are offered for students wishing to upgrade their marks, or to obtain new credits as prerequisites of 4U or International Baccalaureate courses, or for university programs.
