YMCA Sudbury Licensed Child Care Services, in partnership with the Rainbow District School Board is dedicated to providing quality care for children. All child care programs are based out of community schools.
Our Child Care programs and Nursery School provide opportunities for personal growth through new friendships, challenges, relaxation, individual choice and most of all fun! Daily routines and program activities include crafts, experiments, gross motor activities, co-operative games, physical activity time and snacks.
Our programs are offered by qualified YMCA staff who have degrees in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth, Recreation and other fields. Subsidized spaces are available through the City of Greater Sudbury Children Services Division

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The operator shall submit confirmation annual water sampling and testing for lead has been carried out in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, O.Reg. 243/7 between May 1 and October 31 |
Within 30 days of commencing operation the operator shall ensure that a set of drinking water samples are taken and tested and submit a Laboratory Services Notification (LSN) form to the MOE. The operator shall provide proof of submission to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Education. |
Within 5 days of commencing operation the operator shall ensure that a fire has been conducted and shall be available for review by ministry staff at all times. |
