Great Big Theatre Company is a non-profit organization and registered charity with twenty years of experience in the area of arts education. Our mandate is the promotion of drama education for young people and the development of drama programs and productions for audiences of families and children.
Theatre Classes Curriculum
Level 1: Let's Act And Sing!
A fun introduction to the dramatic arts: Level 1 (5-8 years) Weekly / 13 hours
Level 2: Acting Up!
A great way to express your creative side, have fun & meet friends: Level 2 (9-13 years): Weekly / 19.5 hours
Level 1 & 2: Performance Option
ON STAGE ! – A great way to get into the show & shine as never before !: Chorus roles (ages 6-13): 26 hours / Principal roles (ages 9-13): 40 hours
Theatre Day Camps: Summer Theatre Camps / March Break Theatre Camps, age groups 3-5 and 6-14

Great Big Theatre Company Subsidy Program
If you are interested in applying for a camp subsidy directly through GBTC, please complete and return our Subsidy Application form as soon as possible along with our completed registration form for the particular program in which you are interested (all of these are available in PDF format on our Registration page).
It is much easier for us to fill requests for partial subsidies, e. g. 25 % or so, than for full (100 %) subsidies.
Normally, we will not be able to make any commitment as far as confirming subsidy for a camp or class program until approximately one month before the start of the program, since until that time we do not know how much funding, if any, will be available to us from outside sources. Please download and complete the subsidy application form below and return it to us along with the PDF version of our registration form for the program in which you are interested.
