Toronto Swim Club (TSC)

TSC is a non-profit, competitive swim club based out of Toronto, Ontario for swimmers ages 6 and up.

General Program Information

Please contact the club or check its web site for program details, entrance criteria, swimmer assessment, schedules, fees, and registration information. 

Our swim program runs from September - June, with the exception of National level swimmers who will generally complete their season in July.

Our program is organized into a group structure that reflects the physiological and psychological development of the individual athletes in each group. Our current program is as follows:

National: 

  • Comprised of TSC’s highest performing swimmers primarily in grades 10-12, the focus of this group is national level performance. 
  • The National group trains nine times a week.

Junior National

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 8-11, the focus of this group is to advance toward provincial and national success and the TSC National group. 
  • The Junior National group trains eight times a week. 

Senior 1

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 9-12, the focus of this group is to advance toward Provincial and Eastern Canadian time standards. 
  • The Senior 1 group trains seven times a week.

Senior 2

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 9-12, the focus of this group is to advance toward Regional and Provincial time standards.  
  • The Senior 2 group trains six times a week.

Senior 3

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 9-12, the objective of this group is to provide a competitive swimming opportunity and progression in the sport through improved performance, technique, fitness and fun.
  • The Senior 3 group trains three times a week.

Junior 1

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 6-8, the focus of this group is Provincial and Age Group National level performance.
  •  The Junior 1 group trains seven times a week.

Junior 2

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 6-8, the focus of this group is to advance toward Festival and Provincial time standards.
  • The Junior 2 group trains six times a week. 

Junior 3

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 6-8, the focus of this group is to advance toward Regional time standards.
  • The Junior 3 group trains five times a week.

Junior 4

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 6-8, the focus of this group is to provide a competitive swimming opportunity and progression in the sport through improved performance, technique, fitness and fun.
  • The Junior 4 group trains three times a week.

Youth 1

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 3-5, the focus of this group is to advance toward Festival level performance. 
  • The Youth 1 group trains five times a week.

Youth 2

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 3-5, the objective of this group is to provide a competitive swimming opportunity and progression in the sport through improved technique, fitness and fun.  
  • The Youth 2 group trains four times a week.

Youth 3 

  • Comprised of swimmers primarily in grades 3-5, the objective of this group is to provide a competitive swimming opportunity and progression in the sport through improved technique, fitness and fun.
  • The Youth 3 group trains three times a week.

Introductory Program

  • “Intro Junior” (primarily grades 1-3) and “Intro Senior” (primarily grades 4-6) offer novice swimmers the opportunity to participate in a first class competitive swimming development program.
  • The Intro Groups swim two times a week.
