Established in 1975, PLASP Child Care Services has built a solid reputation as an excellent provider of Before and After School programs as well as Early Learning and Child Care. A not-for-profit, community-based, charitable organization, PLASP provides care and early learning to 10,970 children from 8,657 families annually. School-age programs are located in 205 schools throughout Peel and Toronto, including 89 locations with Full-Day Kindergarten programs. School age programs include before school, lunch, after school and P.A. Day trips. PLASP also operates 21 Early Learning and Child Care Centres catering to toddlers and preschool children up to 5 years of age.

Recognizing our established reputation, PLASP has been voted the number one provider of child care by the readers of the Mississauga News Newspaper and City Parent Magazine every year since 1998. And, was also chosen as the Gold Winner for the Brampton Guardian Reader's Choice Award.

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The school age capacity is based on the use of the gym and Room 115 and the Gym.
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 126 and the alternate space of Room129.
No child shall use the playground structure until the operator receives a third party certified playground safety inspector's written verification the surfacing and permanent play structure meet CSA standards. The inspector's written confirmation of CSA compliance must be sumbitted to the ministry prior to the use of the permananent play structure.
Before changes are made to shared space and/or the total capacity for kindergarten and/or school-age children, the operator shall ensure that an up to date shared space confirmation document that is signed by the operator and a school board representative is available on site for Ministry review.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
As of August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 3 groups of Primary/Junior School Age children with a maximum capacity of 15 children in each group and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Room 126 is licensed for use by a Kindergarten group of 26 children

Director's Approval

Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262.
As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
As of August 31, 2015, Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
